From its extraction through sale, use and disposal, all the stuff in our lives affects communities at home and abroad, yet most of this is hidden from view. The Story of Stuff is a 20-minute, fast-paced, fact-filled look at the underside of our production and consumption patterns. The Story of Stuff exposes the connections between a huge number of environmental and social issues, and calls us together to create a more sustainable and just world. It'll teach you something, it'll make you laugh, and it just may change the way you look at all the stuff in your life forever.

The "Stuff" of fascism

One of the bitter ironies, and one that people robotically return to time and time again, is the notion that "We The People" actually have any say in this sick and twisted government and that it and its corporate handlers/enablers have been somehow seperated from birth from the beginning.

Think about it... moneyed fat-cats, often straight out of "government", grease the political wheels, receive their dictatorial favors and absolutions, and then are somehow magically "prevented" from "discovering" resources, cures (insert whatever excuse or crisis), etc. etc. etc. unless they get further funding/breaks/indulgences paid for off of the backs of those they are purportedly "helping". Our "government" is simply the PR department while the "enforcers"... the military and "law" enforcement agencies make sure competition is crushed.

They willy nilly toss about the words "democracy" or "freedom" or that dead worthless horse the Constitution along with other rot gut pronouncements in order to mesmerize the masses into the delusion that they really have some say in their slavish fates. It's absurd! They are in fact two sides to the same corrupt evil coin. They are willingly and unhesitatingly bound together back to back.

What these video clips tell me, as entertaining as they are, is that we've been manipulated all these years, once again, into creating and producing the very system, and its evils, taught to believe all was well and how glorious it was ,but now, often times through organizations funded by the very corporations responsible for the "stuff" mentality in the first place, we're to be happy with less. Hmmmmmm. Seems to me that this is simply code-speak from our masters that the party is coming to an end and we need to be conditioned to accept a life of deprivation wrapped up in eco-babel and be happy about it.

It's the same fascism but now with a newer "greener" face. Notice that in order to achieve this purported environmental niravana we've been asked to "fund"...i.e. be taxed even more, by the same rats who can't be trusted in everything else. Why believe corrupt politicians, and the scientists who suck at the public trough, would suddenly have your interest at heart! That's because they don't. And every time they run up against fictitious "problems" it's because they haven't enough "funding" or people haven't been "educated" Read: indoctrinated. Face it.... the game continues.
