When I was a child, Saturday was my favorite day of the week. On Saturday, all of the networks ran cartoons from early morning until noon. All morning, I would veg out while watching my favorite shows, with occasional breaks to bounce around the room pretending I was some superhero.
One day I was strolling along the shore of one of the Great Lakes with my father and my Grandfather. Somehow I must have brought up the subject of Saturday morning cartoons. My dad told me that when he was a kid, they did not have televisions. My Grandfather took it one step farther, stating that when he was my age, they did not even have radios. I thought about this for a moment, then I turned to my Grandfather and asked, "What did you do on Cartoon Day?"

Word had already leaked out that this was a laughable hit piece centered around Popular Mechanics. (Hearst Publishing - synonymous with Yellow Journalism, and already guilty of using the tragedy of the USS Maine to inflame patriotism to wage a war with Spain in 1898, the same Hearst Publishing who holds a controlling stake in the History Channel via its stake in the A & E Television Network.)

I watched the History Channel program "The 9-11 Conspiracies" and it was one of the more wide-ranging 'debunking' efforts so far. This is a good sign. One guy ludicrously dropped 'theory' from its normal place in the epithet, and would just talk about the conspiracies abounding on the internet- 9-11 Blogger's not laundering drug money is it? They even brought up Mineta's testimony, about which Coburn from Popular Mechanics had no flippant response to other than wishing there would soon be some official response to it. We all know that there won't be until there are indictments and summonses....

This seven-minute clip focuses on one of the most skillful and amoral expert of all the experts in mass manipulation, Edward Bernays. Bernays got his first taste of the power of propaganda during World War I. He advised US presidents from Woodrow Wilson to Einsehower and served numerous corporations and business associations. One of his biggest fans was Hitler's propaganda chief, Joseph Goebbels, a fact about which Bernays bragged proudly.
In this clip, we see a pattern that Bernays used over and over again: turn a harmless entity into a fearsome enemy through lies and manufactured news items. Then use the "threat" to justify attack. The above scripture comes from the book of Revelation, the final book of God's word, which deals with the end-time. One might expect murder, fornication, and theft to be widespread sins in the last days because we see a continual increase of these sins with every passing year. But notice that a fourth sin is mentioned as well: sorcery. According to God's word, we can expect to see an increase in sorcery as the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ draws near.
According to Webster, the word "sorcery" means "magic; use of drugs (pharmacy) ; enchantment; witchcraft; divination by the assistance or the supposed assistance of evil spirits, or the power of commanding evil spirits."
One does not have to look very far to see that God's word is being fulfilled before our very eyes. Along with numerous other Biblical signs that our Lord's return is near, we are also witnessing a tremendous increase in occultism. Much of this is obviously due to the way many books, movies, and television programs are glamorizing such evil practices as witchcraft and wizardry. God's word clearly condemns all such practices, yet millions of people, especially young people, are being led to believe that it is possible to be a good witch or a good wizard. I watched this show last night, and frankly, I was not impressed.
There were three aspects of this program which I found troubling.
The first was that the inscription for Mary was using a Latin pronunciation. This was a time when Rome ruled Judea and we are told by the Bible that Mary survived the death of her son. Why would her own tomb be inscribed with her name in the vernacular of the people she would see as the killers of her son?
Second, I found it very odd that whereas the still unexcavated tomb was only reachable through a symbolic pipe, the empty tomb that the ossuaries had come from had a concrete-lined access way complete with rebar-rung ladder, As I watched the concrete slab come off revealing the way to the tomb I kept thinking, "How very convenient."
Third and most damning was the reliance on the James Ossuary as a reference to confirm the rest of the ossuaries by comparing patinas, and there is the final problem. While I have no problem with the so-called James Ossuary being the missing 10th ossuary from that original tomb, the fact is that the ENTIRE inscription of the James Ossuary has been determined to be a forgery, complete with faked Patina. Hence, if the James inscription is a fake, and the patinas match, then the most likely conclusion is that all the inscriptions are faked. Given that the show described Oded Golan as a collector and failed to mention his being charged as a criminal for numerous such antiquities forgeries destroyed the credibility of this program.
Frankly, given his oceanographic works, I am very surprised that James Cameron put his name on this project. - M. R.
Yesterday, on the 27th February 2007, hundreds of thousands of people with access to the internet, were able to see a video, or hear about it, which showed a female (Jane Standly) BBC reporter on 9-11 (2001), stating that the Salomon Brother's building, also known as WTC 7, had collapsed. Trouble is, the building was still standing at the time of the report, and could clearly be seen behind the reporter in the background. The time-stamp of the video also shows that the report took place approximately twenty-six minutes before the actual collapse of WTC Building 7.
Today, on the 28th February 2007, the BBC (that you fund) is being pressured by thousands of 9-11 truth activists to name the source of this claim; which reveals prior knowledge of the building's collapse; and is refusing to name it. WTC 7 was never hit by a plane, and only suffered; according to eyewitness reports confirmed by video footage; minor damage to one side, and minor fires. Videos of the actual collapse clearly show the building was “pulled” in a controlled demolition. There were explosives already in place in the building in the building. It was an inside-job.
Many mainstream television programs today claim to offer the viewer an impartial approach on any given issue, this just isn’t true, there is no longer any such thing as an unbiased television program in the MSM [mainstream media]. For all intents and purposes every network is subservient to its owners and management, which is largely pro-Zionist in our contemporary world. Many people like to point out that the networks are “owned,” by stockholders and “managed,” by a “Board of Directors,” and that the only bias they have is one directed at profit. When I hear this I feel it necessary to point out that Enron was also a publicly traded corporation and it too had a Board of Directors. Despite this it only took a few individuals at the very top to drive the corporation into the ground. Last week, a comment appeared on the World Socialist Web Site describing the phenomenon of “Reality TV.” [“Reality television” and the American reality that produces it] There is another genre of network television drama that is every bit as psychologically and socially toxic. These are broadcast television series that openly serve a right-wing political agenda. I am referring to shows like JAG, which glorifies the military, and to the ubiquitous cop shows that now regularly top the ratings on network television.
The weekly Fox network television series entitled 24 is an extreme example of this genre. Its propaganda value is revealed in story lines that promote racist stereotypes of Arab Americans and other ethnic groups. Even more politically insidious, this year’s season is replete with scenes of torture administered to various suspected terrorists or their associates by US government operatives. 24 offers such stomach-turning scenes every week. These sequences no doubt reflect, first of all, the sadistic imaginations of those producing the program. They are also designed to shock and presumably appeal to the most backward viewers—a politically perverse example of the scenes that characterize a show like Fear Factor. Moreover, this systematic presentation of torture is intended to inure the population and convey the message that this barbaric treatment is somehow acceptable in the “global war on terror.”

A few months before I was born,
my Dad met a stranger who was new to our small Tennessee town. From the
beginning, Dad was fascinated with this enchanting newcomer and soon
invited him to live with our family. The stranger was quickly accepted
and was around to welcome me into the world a few months later.
As I grew up, I never questioned his place in my family. In my young
mind, he had a special niche. My parents were complementary
instructors: Mom taught me the word of God,
and Dad taught me to obey
it. But the stranger?
He was our storyteller. He would keep us
spellbound for hours on end with adventures, mysteries and comedies. If
I wanted to know anything about politics, history or science, he always
knew the answers about the past, understood the present and even seemed
able to predict the future! He took my family to the first major
league ball game. He made me laugh, and he made me cry. The
stranger
never stopped talking, but Dad didn't seem to mind.
Sometimes Mom would get up quietly while the rest of us were shushing
each other to listen to what he had to say, and she would go to
her
room and read her books. (I wonder now if she ever prayed for the
stranger to leave.)
Dad ruled our household with certain moral convictions, but the
stranger never felt obligated to honor them. Profanity, for
example,
was not allowed in our home... not from us, our friends or any
visitors. Our long-time visitor, however, got away with
four-letter
words that burned my ears and made my dad squirm and my mother blush.
My Dad was a teatotaler who didn't permit alcohol in the home, not even
for cooking. But the stranger encouraged us to try it on a regular
basis. He made cigarettes look cool, cigars manly and pipes
distinguished. He talked freely (much too freely!) about sex. His
comments were sometimes blatant, sometimes suggestive, and generally
embarrassing. I now know that my early concepts about relationships
were influenced strongly by the stranger. Time after time, he opposed
the values of my parents, yet he was seldom rebuked... and NEVER
asked
to leave.
More than fifty years have passed since the stranger moved in with our
family. He has blended right in and is not nearly as fascinating as he
was at first.
Still, if you were to walk into my parents' den today you would still
find him sitting over in his corner, waiting for someone to listen to
him talk and watch him draw his pictures.
Humans rely on religion to rationalize and justify their belief in
fairy tales.
Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are actually part

Most christians who accept modern day teachings disregard the fact

Humans also use religion to wait on fairy tale events such as the rapture. This event, an

We have all witnessed video footage of the recent Tsunami events.
I was dumbfounded to witness a man standing at the ocean's shore
watching one of the waves approaching him. Like a deer in the
headlights of an oncoming vehicle he stood their frozen, unable to
comprehend his impending doom. Sure enough he was overcome by the wave
and disappeared into the water never to be seen again. This reminded me
of the millions of christians who wait on their savior to rapture them
away from a world they are
helping destroy. This man was dragged back into the sea. If
christians don't wake upREAL SOON they will be washed
away as well.
Modern day christianity, churchianity, is delivered by and
